On April 6th, I’d like to ask you to do ONE random act of kindness. It doesn’t matter how big or small, just do something within your means for someone else. Be selfless.
April 6th, 2012 marks the 10th Anniversary of my sister, Meagan McCormick, leaving this world. I can think of no better way to celebrate her legacy than spreading kindness. Meagan was a very giving person. She always wanted to help. Meagan was a 3rd grade teacher in a very poor district. Under her desk she kept a chest of everyday necessities for any of her students to take as needed, such as hairbrushes, toothpaste, kitchen items, etc. She was the one who could cheer you up when you were down, would buy food for the family with the cardboard sign on the corner, or volunteer her time with the homeless. Meagan also loved the movie Pay It Forward. Let’s see what one of our small acts of kindness can do☺
Perhaps your kind act will inspire another to do the same. Let’s see how far the kindness can reach. By RSVPing, you will be pledging to do one act of random kindness on April 6th. Please share this, invite your friends to this event, and let’s start a movement! How much compassion can we spread? Help me celebrate Meagan’s legacy with kindness!
And please do share your random acts of kindness you do on April 6th!
