Greeting friends, family, musicians, guppies, puppies and unicorns...

We are pleased to announce the first ever Bluegrass Spectacular, this Monday the 26th at the Rogue and Peasant in the Center of the Universe.

You have been hand selected, out of many thousands, to attend the event of the century! Hosted by Tony Bentley, this will be the opening concert of a weekly bluegrass showcase featuring local and traveling musicians for no cost to you unless you’d like to take home a CD of the guest performers. We will be passing a tip jar to show our appreciation for the guest performances.

This weeks exciting lineup features the Mermen, with guest appearances by some of Seattle’s finest bluegrass, old time, jazz and folk performers. The Mermen - Colin Klein, Tony Bentley, and Isaac Vicknair - are a serious, no-nonsense, old time sea shanty band that dresses in oversize fish costumes to dazzle and delight your eyes and ears.

We hope to make this a great weekly event, so come on out and join the fun!
