WHEN: April 17th from 4-8pm
WHERE: Grand Canyon University’s basketball arena.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
+ The students who qualified will compete in a three round, single elimination tournament for scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $5,000.
+ In addition, Grand Canyon University is offering a $5,000 scholarship to the first place
winner which means the first place winner will actually receive $10,000 in scholarship funds.
+ The students who win first, second and third place will also win $1,000 donations for
their individual schools.
+ The community activities are open to the public and include live entertainment, opportunities to meet local celebrities, play equipment, drawings for prizes and more.
+ The school that brings the most support will win the School Spirit award of $500.

April is Financial Literacy Month and this event was put together to help students learn to master money so they do not have to be slaves to debt. They learn the value of properly managing their time, actively looking for active and passive business opportunities and why it's important to stay out of credit card debt.
