Produced by 14 Black Poppies (www.14blackpoppies.com), a producer of arts, wellness, and community workshops and experiences, and hosted by Wix Lounge SF (www.wixloungesf.com), a free co-working space within Wix.com offices, this MAPP event will include art, film, music, dance, and spoken word performances.
The public is invited to view a gallery of work by local artists, sample refreshments, and participate in interactive art projects such as a mandala and a community story experience. In addition to arts & crafts and food vendors, participants will be offered spiritual readings and cleansings. The event is free and open to the public.

ASIAN MAINSTREAM PRODUCTIONS (www.asianmainstream.com) Asian Mainstream Productions is a full spectrum production company open to talented individuals from every walk of life, with a special emphasis on the Asian community.
EVERYTHING IN PEN (www.everythinginpen.bandcamp.com) is the music of Elizabeth Hubbard. Born in Chester, CT, she moved to San Francisco once she had read all the books in her small town’s library. Combining the pop sensibility of Big Star and the narrative observations of Jonathan Richman, Everything in Pen’s second album, “The Bitterroot”, examines love, war criminals, sexism, and the post office through her unique lens as an obsessive reader.
PO' POETS/POETAS POBRE'S (www.poormagazine.org) of POOR Magazine/Prensa POBRE: Bi-lingual Poets in poverty using the WORD to heal, educate, decolonize n relate how to survive, thrive n stay alive thru race and class oppression.
THE VESPERTINE ORCHESTRA (www.thevespertineorchestra.com) is a classically trained electronic and acoustic duo based out of Petaluma California. Their music ranges from experimental to electronic dance, with a massive touch of Minimalism. The Vespertine Orchestra is also the resident music ensemble for The Vespertine Circus, a circus troupe based out of Oakland California.
3 LITTLE BIRDS is tribal healing dance and sound activating journey. They are Eucaly, Tao, and Jungle Love. Eucaly bring peace and harmony through art expression, prays for Japan, and prays for the world. Tao has been sensitive to energy since her childhood, began seeing Ryujin (Dragon God) at an early age and continues to see Tyujin, believes music and dance is healing, and lives in harmony with all that is = TAOism. All Jungle Love ever wanted to do is skate down a hill.
JUSTIN ANCHETA (www.justinancheta.com) hails from San Francisco, California, He is a music making, social changing, conscious spreading, teacher and artist. His eclectic style of reggae flavored indie-rock, funk and jazz is a down-to-earth and moving music with lyrics that reveal his passion for community, awareness, and change. Ancheta has played with Joan Baez and opened for the Wailers, Creedence Clearwater Survival, Charles Neville, Ricky Skaggs, and numerous other internationally renowned artists. While still keeping up with performing, Justin has been involved with music programs and after school programs to help pass meaning and culture through his music and love for nature. Justin has played music to encourage art and culture at schools throughout Northern California, focusing on the concept that we can be the change we wish to see.

JASON WYMAN is a life-long arts educator, writer, performer, cook, and learner. He hails from Minnesota and fled the frigid winters and muggy summers for what he assumed was sunny California. He was greeted instead by the ocean wind, foggy days, and fits of rain. And he loves it. He is co-founder of 14 Black Poppies.
MARGARET BACON SCHULZE is a writer of Okinawan and Anglo (English, Irish, Scottish and French) ancestry. She was born in Okinawa, Japan and grew up mostly in Southern California though she also lived in Florida, Mississippi, Singapore, England and Scotland. San Francisco has been her home longer than anywhere else, and she continues to reside near Ocean Beach with her family which includes four cats. She is co-founder of 14 Black Poppies.
RAMONA SOTO is an artist/educator and a communicator who specializes in helping people get in touch with what they really love. She’s interested in many things and usually finds herself immersed in art, words, music, and science. She’s seen how effective the arts are for helping people find their true selves and communicate with the outside world. After a stint in the Sacramento area to take care of family, she is thrilled to be back home in San Francisco. Ramona is a 14 Black Poppies Artist.
JIMENA QUIROGA HOPKINS (www.transformingways.com) is a facilitator, healer, and educator. A self-proclaimed dreamer and doer, she is the founder of Transforming Ways, a holistic healing practice that helps individuals create greater health and happiness. Her life’s work also encompasses a decade of work in the youth development and education sectors as a trainer, field researcher, and curriculum/tool developer. Her passion and mission in life is to empower individuals and communities by providing them with tools to create personal and social change. Jimena is a 14 Black Poppies healer.
ANAKH SUL RAMA was psychically aware starting at a young age. In his young adulthood, he discovered the beginning of his pagan path. He believes in the interconnectedness of all things in time and dimension, and he considers himself an Urban eclectic pagan, which encompass a mishmash of spiritual beliefs. Anakh Sul briefly studied under Sun Dragon Iron Fist an Eclectic Shaman in Austin (and still considers the high priestess a mentor) before his journey took him in new directions. Anakh Sul was ordained a priest of Bastet. Anakh Sul is a 14 Black Poppies healer.
MARIPOSA VILLALUNA's (performing with Po' Poets/Poetas Poebre) first name is a combination of the two first names she was given by each of her parents. Her mother's name is her middle name so she will always carry her spirit. Her father's name was a spirit name that he gave to her by noticing how she had a relationship with the butterflies. No matter how much she kept this name silent it would always come back to her by other people. Her grandparents on her dad's side passed away, and on her mom's side only her grandma is still here. She grew up with one grandparent who taught her the power of prayer and energy. Since she was little, her family raised her in an intentional extended family setting. She grew up calling her grandmother Ma, and always felt she was super lucky to have two moms. She recently relocated back to her birthplace, San Francisco, from a reservation in the four corners of the southwest. Mari is a 14 Black Poppies healer.

KIRTHI NATH (www.cinemagicalmedia.com) makes films that seem spun from dreams. As an award winning independent South Asian filmmaker, Kirthi has established a body of creative work that fluidly straddles genres, occupying a fertile landscape of cultural poetics, experimentalism, documentary and hybrid narrative. Tactile and dreamlike, her work explores storytelling, desire, spirituality, cultural identities and moments of being. Current projects include a series of multimedia projects about spirituality, magical messages and modern day mindfulness. In addition to her own filmmaking, Kirthi is the founder of Cinemagical Media, a conscious media production company committed to helping organizations and companies “Be the Cause that Creates the Effect’. JENNIFER KINCAID's (producing Steam of Consciousness) (www.jenniferkincaid.com) work focuses on exploration and discovery. Whether rendering an internal landscape through autobiographical abstract paintings, capturing a found moment in photography, or facilitating an interaction with the environment with in an audience-generated content interactive instillations, her work is about moving through life with the urge to create. In all her compositions, Jennifer seeks to illuminate the personal experience.
