Alex Nieminen is a true new media pioneer. In the 90's he hosted "Verkossa", a magazine TV-show about the internet usage from the consumer point of view. His internet consultancy, The Works Finland, was one of the first internet consultancies in Finland and was later sold to Icon Medialab. He has been the Head of R&D for Icon Medialab in London, sat on the board of Satama Interactive, served as the CEO of Hasan & Partners and now is working on his latest venture, N2. Oh yeah, he also bought blogilista.fi, which he later sold to Sanoma. And is the founder of Ipanapa Records. Phew.
Robin Bade is a passionate entrepreneur, and the founder of Activeark Oy. He is Chairman of the Board at Activeark, and also at adQ Company, a Scandinavian network for online and mobile media advertising. Additionally, he serves on the board of IAB Finland, a chapter of the European Interactive Advertising Bureau, and is a frequent speaker at events focusing on entrepreneurship, digital creativity, and new opportunities for businesses in the digital channel.
Saku Tuominen founded Broadcasters, the leading Finnish tv-production company together with Juha Tynkkynen in 1990. In 1995 they sold it, but bought it back in 1998. In 2004 they sold the company again. Saku has produced more than 100 different TV series including big international formats, as well as dozens of shows created in house. He was a Chief Creative Officer of Zodiak Entertainment, world´s 3rd largest production company for two years. He was responsible for improving the creative process in 45 companies, in 17 countries. In addition to this, Saku is one of the leading consultants in creativity in Finland, giving lectures and consulting to many big companies. He also teaches creativity in Aalto University that combines technology, art and design and business. Saku Tuominen has written four books. Two about creativity, one about going global and one about dried pasta. The fifth, about Italian Cuisine will come out next fall.
