Worry no more! On our upcoming meetup, we are having Steve Leung, CGA, from Akeroyd Leung Professional Accountants. Steve will be covering topics regarding the TAX CONSIDERATIONS FOR START-UP ENTREPRENEURS and 2012 PERSONAL TAX PLANNING.

Steve has an in-depth knowledge in the area of Canadian tax through a combination of advanced education and work background as a Canadian Tax Specialist. After receiving his accounting degree and CGA designation, Steve furthered his education by completing and Advanced In-Depth Tax Course Program offered through the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a program highly recognized in the accounting industry for tax professionals. He also worked as a Canadian Tax Manager at one of the leading CA firms in Vancouver where he became highly specialized in tax planning and compliance matters for owner-managed businesses and individuals.

Outside of work, he is a bit of a sports junkie and enjoys catching live sporting events and participating in sporting activities. He is currently training for a half-marathon to fulfill one of his New Year's Resolutions for 2012. Go Steve!
