Haiti School Fundraiser

Two years after the earthquake, HAITI needs our help, and education is key! Our “Engaging Haiti” class and Northeastern University are now working to make a difference by partnering with the non-profit Benches& Blackboards (http://benchesandblackboards.org/programs/haiti/noailles-land-project/) to support the Noailles tent community in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. Let’s help them reach their goal of $12,000 to buy land for a permanent school site by attending this event to support the effort!

We will be having a raffle for excellent prizes including gift certificates to Cambridge Brewing Company, Peet's Coffee and Tea, JP Licks (a local ice cream store), Pier 1 Imports, and Boloco, a Starbucks gift basket, personal training sessions at a nearby gym, and free admission to an event sponsored by the Harvard bookstore,and a silent auction in which you can win handmade Haitian metal work and a Patriots football team game ball! We look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
