Ever notice the huge overlap between Engineers, Video Game Designers, Programmers, and … Perverts? Yep, their linear approach to issues that range from ‘facilitating orgasms using factory equipment only’ to ‘an in-depth analysis of suspension rigging to maximize access for sensory input’ - well, that research may be improving the life of some lucky lab assistant RIGHT NOW. Remember, when a geek says “actually, you can have multiple orgasms in fairly rapid succession,” believe them - but ask for proof. It’s more fun that way.
Want a peek inside an Engineer’s unique approach to sex and dating? From providing answers as a Sex Educator to building Dildonics in their basement, GeekSexuals apply their technical prowess to everybody’s favorite riddle, and the Earth is a better place because of it. Join us on Wednesday, April 11th and go home with some new tips and tricks, and an evening of great true stories. Long live the GeekSexual!

Storyteller Bios:
- Sarah Dopp is obsessed with the Internet, microphones, the overlapping edges of gender, and the kinds of adventures that make for a really good story. She likes to build communities, and she's created thriving ones around genderqueerness, writing, and performance -- both on the Internet and right here in San Francisco. She's been published in Coming and Crying and Gender Outlaws: TNG, and was co-host of San Francisco's Queer Open Mic from 2008 - 2011. But lately, she's just been kinda normal.
- As soon Todd Arthur laid eyes on a Commodore Pet in junior high, his days of playing right field in baseball and third string in football ended. Todd started following The Nerd Way. After a decade-long stint as a software engineer, Todd switched careers and now teaches computer science. Todd has been gratified to find that there is a Moore's Law for sex as well. Though he seldom has an opportunity to spin a yarn, Todd has a passion for storytelling.
- As the son of a college professor, Ted is more than willing to help a friend with a research project, even when that request is a little bit…unusual. Despite his best efforts to avoid his academic destiny by running, skiing, and building things, Ted is currently working on a Ph.D., unfortunately in neither sex nor storytelling.
- Iris Brilliant is a poet, singer and ukulele aficionado. One of her many talents is to write songs specifically tailored to any topic, however bawdy, brainy or vanilla. She is available for writing and performing original songs for birthday parties, romantic serenading your sweetheart, or any other special event you might have in mind.
