This evening we have presenters covering everything from "building a hiring network" to "making the connections you need to reduce the risk of open source software". Scott Britton is a startup enthusiast, blogger, and Skillshare teacher based in New York City. He's currently a business development and marketing executive for SinglePlatform and writes about business development, networking, and personal development at Life-LongLearner.com. He also teaches two Skillshare Classes: Business Development Going in Cold and 30+ Life Hacks to have more money, time, energy, and well-being.
Jodi Jefferson is the founder of the People Project and has years of experience in tech talent acquisition, recruitment brand marketing and new business development. She represents talent from college grads to CTO's, matching cutting edge people with exciting opportunities, as well as provides recruiting solutions for growing companies. Jodi is extremely engaged in the NYC tech scene, marketing trends for recruiting, teaching and connecting. Despite her natural gift of gab, she has turned her love of meeting and connecting new people into a science (apps help too) and gets paid to do it! As a tech recruiter she matches qualified candidates with the right employers, but truly utilizes her networking skills in all areas of her life.  Jodi teaches a SkillShare class How to Network Like Your Life Depends On It (Cause it Does). An entrepreneur at heart, she is also the founder of Surf Craft NY, a kids art program and babysitting agency in Montauk, NY.

Erica Wolfe is a software engineer at Tykoon, a website and mobile app devoted to increasing children's financial literacy. She holds a Master's in Information Systems from New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. During Erica's time at NYU, she was the President of the Masters Association for Computer Science and the Student Government of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
