We're very excited to announce our first European Hackathon in Kiev, Ukraine on April 21st & 22nd, 2012!

If you don't know what a Hackathon is...

Hackathons are a unique part of our culture that allow the entire company to focus on building new things in a nights work. It’s often the birthplace of new products like chat, video, and HipHop for PHP.

Join the Facebook team as we stay up all night hacking and having a good time. We'll supply the food, fun diversions, prizes and some professional guidance. You bring your skills and ideas. We'll see you there.

Winners of each Hackathon will be flown out to Menlo Park, California in November to compete against the other winning teams from Hackathons held at other universities across the world.

You'll want to start thinking of an idea and assemble yourself into a team of no more than 4 people. Please come early as we will hit the 150 person max capacity.

**Please note that you must be currently enrolled in university in order to participate in this event.
