10th Annual LA Burning Man Decompression Arts and Music Celebration

This is the 10th year for the Official Los Angeles Burning Man Decompression Arts and Music Festival. We are extremely excited to not only be rockin it in participatory gradeur till DAWN, but we will also be gathering around the flames for Los Angeles's first BURN!!!!!

This is the 10th year for the Official Los Angeles Burning Man Decompression Arts and Music Festival. We are extremely excited to not only be rockin it in participatory gradeur till DAWN, but we will also be gathering around the flames for Los Angeles's first BURN!!!!!

BURN HAS BEEN POSTPONED. EVENT STILL GOES ALL NIGHT.

The large art installation created by the burner community is titled "Seraphim: The Spirit of Unification." It will feature four angels guarding a vortex, and will be the focus of new outreach to various communities in Los Angeles.

Groups are being invited to visit the sculpture starting October 8th, to interact with it as a spiritual zone. Common burner practices include writing on it, leaving mementos that mark a transition in life, and building small altars and tributes to the recently departed. The sculpture will be secure, with "Angel Guardians" (volunteers) ensuring the integrity of what people place there. All materials placed on the vortex of Seraphim must be organic and burnable. All plastic and rubber are toxic and would have to be removed before burning.

Seraphim will be available to visit during normal park hours starting October 8th and is free to the public through the 12th.

15% of all profits go to creating an Educational Aquaponic Food Garden for Santee High School.
