The Greater Toronto Area's BIGGEST Free Comic Book Day Celebration is BACK! This year's event is one that you do not want to miss!
Free Comic Book Day is held on the first Saturday of May every year. Participating comic stores all across North America give away comics for FREE to anyone who enters there store on that day.
Free Comic Book Day is meant to promote and celebrate comic books as great literature and a true artform.
Stadium Comics runs one of the largest Free Comic Book Day events in Canada. In addition to the free comics, the Brampton, Ontario comic shop brings in several guest artists and creators to sign and sketch for fans. Combined with the raffles and contests, and their biggest sale of the year, Free Comic Book Day at Stadium is one event that you don't want to miss!

==ATTENDING ARTISTS=================
*MARCUS TO has become a fan favourite at Stadium Comics and no doubt many will be anticipating his return to our store. Marcus recently completed the 6-part series The Huntress as part of the DC New 52 Relaunch, and will be moving on to Batwing as of issue #9. Marcus previously worked on a very successful run of Red Robin for DC Comics, as well as Soulfire and Fathom for Aspen Comics.
*KALMAN ANDRASOFSZKY will be making his very first visit to Stadium Comics, and we couldn't be happier to have him as our guest! Kalman got his start doing illustrations for RPG games such as Dungeons and Dragons. Since then he's worked for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Boom Studios and Image Comics on titles such as Spider-man, Action Comics, X-Men, Captain America, Dazzler, NYX, Tomb of Dracula, Checkmate, and Gi Joe. Most recently, Kalman was the regular cover artist on Marvel Comics' X-23.
*FEARLESS FRED KENNEDY often professes his love for comic books and cartoons as the popular afternoon drive host on Toronto's Edge 102.1, and as host of Teletoon at Night on TV. Fred isn't all talk though - he has written books such as 'Teuton', 'Helos', and 'Mike Gorbsmith: The Only Attractive Russian Ever' for Big Sexy Comics. Teuton is available now in graphic novel form, with the second volume available later this summer. This is Fred's second visit to Stadium!
*ADAM GORHAM is the artist of the gritty medieval tale 'Teuton', which he produces in conjunction with Fearless Fred Kennedy. Previously Adam made quite an impression with his graphic novel adaptation of Canadian indie film 'The Vampire Conspiracy'. Lately, Adam has impressed people with his exclusive limited print tributes to "The Dark Knight Rises"
*VINCE SUNICO is an independent artist and a member of Spent Pencils Studio. Vince is a fan favourite at comic conventions as well as events at Stadium Comics. His artwork has appeared on our past FCBD limited edition prints. Vince is now the regular artist on the webcomic Qwixotic, a political science fiction thriller!
*GEORGE TODOROVSKI is an independent artist from Toronto who is co-creator of the hilarious 'The Bear Stories' graphic novels and webcomic. George is also the regular artist on the Dungeon Crawler Adventures webcomic, and he has also had his work appear in Heavy Metal Magazine. George also makes music with his band 'Thirdstage', and is an accomplished independent filmmaker.
*CHRIS HATZOPOULOS is co-creator of the hilarious 'The Bear Stories' graphic novels and webcomic. Chris is also an accomplished chiptunes artist, and performs under the name 'Oxvylu'.
*CRIS DE LARA is a native of Brazil and the co-owner of Artepixel Illustration and Digital Painting. Cris is known for her amazing work with illustrated pin-ups, and she impressed a lot of people with her appearance at our Free Comic Book Day last year.
*PARIS ALLEYNE is an up and coming young comic artist who has tons of potential, and has just recently started to appear in artist alleys at conventions here in the GTA. His art portfolio has impressed us at Stadium Comics and we feel Paris will impress a lot of people at our FCBD, as well as Toronto Wizard World and Fan Expo, which he'll also be appearing at this year.
*CHRIS LEUNG is a member of Powie Studios, the creators of "The Misadventures of Mal and Lot", a story about a 10 year old boy lost in space with no one able to help him but the alien Lot. This is Chris' second visit to Stadium Comics!

*LUCA BALDASSARRA is the writer and co-creator of the "Shadowlines" comic, which also has a smart phone game associated with it!
*DAVID BISHOP is the creator of "Stranger" - a tale about a guy who floats between different groups of survivors of the Zombie Apocalypse. The "Littlest Hobo" of zombie stories!
