The G8 Young Global Leaders is an invitation only summit to bring together influential, next generation leaders representing the Group of Eight (G8) to draw upon the differences of business theories of old, to develop communiques & white papers from the world’s business and philanthropic leaders and to drive policy change surrounding social and economic issues we face worldwide. The Young Global Leaders of the G8 Summit first launched during the G8 in Italy and has now spread to multiple cities around the world. The weekend will have three main pillars: Summit Sessions, Committee Meetings, and Social Events. The 2012 G8 Young Global Leaders will meet in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., May 4-6, 2012, with guests arriving May 3.
