Help me meet with Sam O'Rourke, por favor!

What's up, friends and neighbors, I need your help!

Sam O'Rourke works at Facebook and I need to have a conversation with him about the future.

I work for a small Austin startup with big technology and even bigger hearts. What do we do? It's like this -- can you imagine what it was like for the world's first person to get an x-ray? To look inside themselves and instantly be like, "Whoa! Hey guys, you've gotta check this out!" That's what we do for companies; we help them see inside themselves and that insight helps them accomplish their mission.

By all accounts, Sam seems like a nice guy (huge surfer), but he is tough to get a hold of. And I really want to meet with him, because I believe my company could help him out with his busy job and make his life better. I'm looking for a conversation here, no powerpoint, no schmoozing: "Let's see what we can do. Is there a fit? Maybe? Maybe not? But let's go for it and have a call and see what's possible. That's all I'm asking. Take a meeting and see what's possible."

And here's where I need your help! I figure the best way to contact a Facebook guy is to use Facebook, so I need your support. If you want to help me meet Sam, follow these steps:

1. Click Attend, and in the comments ask Sam O'Rourke to please and thank you have a meeting with me.

2. Share the Event with everyone you know.

3. Ask them to do the same.

And that's it! My goal is to get to 100,000 'attendees' by Jack Johnson's birthday, May 18th (another surfer, seems appropriate). When we hit 100,000, I think Sam will be all "alright, chill, what do you want to meet about...". And our job will be done!

When we hit 100,000 'attendees', and Sam takes the meeting, then I will personally write each and every 'attendee' a haiku on the topic of your choice: DDR, Occupy, trees, your neighbor, Pablo Picasso...you name it, I'll write it. But we gotta get Sam to a meeting!
