The TDC Pratt Student Group is proud to sponsor this screening of Linotype: The Film and a Q&A with  director Doug Wilson to follow! Linotype: The Film is a feature-length documentary centered around the Linotype type casting machine. Called the "Eighth Wonder of the World" by Thomas Edison, it revolutionized printing and society. The film tells the surprisingly emotional story of the people connected to the Linotype and how it impacted the world. Seating is general admission. Doors will open after 6:30PM and the screening will begin promptly at 7PM. Please have a photo ID along with a paper copy of your EventBrite ticket. This event is open to all Pratt students and faculty, and to the greater Pratt, TDC, and creative communities. Following the screening, there will be a question and answer period with the film's director, Doug Wilson. This event is made possible through the generous co-sponsorship from the Pratt Graduate and Undergraduate Communications Design departments. About TDC Pratt Student Group The Type Director's Club Pratt Student Group is the first-ever collegiate student group to partner with the TDC.
