UPDATE: Topics Announced! Location Announced!! On May 24th, we are bringing back one of the most talked about and exciting evenings from last year - and having our SMCATL meeting PechaKucha or Lightning Talk style. For those of you who have never heard of PechaKucha or Ignite, it is a simple, unique, and fast paced presentation style where each presenter shows 20 images or slides, each for either 15 or 20 seconds each. The images advance automatically, and the presenter speaks along with the images. (So each presentation is either exactly 5 minutes long, or exactly 6 minutes 40 seconds long!). Also used by Ignite, and Lightning Talks, these fast paced presentations are fun, exciting, and can inspire. PechaKucha started in Tokyo, as a way for designers, architects, artists, and other creatives to get together and share their ideas, works, and thoughts in a unique and fun way. It's very social, and very fun. To learn more about PechaKucha, please visit
