THE PRESS SAYS:
"This is the strangest heavy-metal-meets-classical experiment since Metallica joined the San Francisco Symphony in a collaboration that sometimes sounded like a Stradivarius played with a chain saw." - Paul Liberatore - Marin IJ
"Right off the bat, Life Love Misery is put into full gear with these tracks. The mood of a HIM track and the edge of Manson. Those two elements tangled together musically, only reveal a sound that holds attentions of listeners throughout." - Bryan Ferris Radio

Dirty Cello
Led by cellist Rebecca Roudman, who has shared the stage with everyone from Elvis Costello to Carlos Santana and Ry Cooder and Joan Baez, Dirty Cello presents unique and dynamic music that mixes virtuosic classical playing with the soul of blues, the fire of gypsy music and the beauty of modern folk music. Think B.B. King meets Mark O'Connor meets Yo-Yo Ma.
Always popular with a wide range of ticket buying audiences, Dirty Cello is at home at small intimate gigs to large festival type venues. Recent popular performances include a sold-out show at the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center, Yoshi's in San Francisco, Napa City Nights, the Locomojo Festival, Global Winter Wonderland, Santa Clara University and an exciting 300 person sold out show at the 142 Throckmorton Theatre. Dirty Cello also won the 2011 American River Music Festival Songwriter Showcase.
