Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Connie appeared in the electronic music scene six years ago and has become a familiar face in the NYC underground house/techno scenes. Connie has spun her eclectic mix of funky house, tech house, electro, acid, minimal and techno all over the world and alongside the most talented DJs/producers, like Trentemoller, James Holden, Italoboyz, Vincenzo, Michal Ho, Nico Purman, Guy Gerber, Davide Squillace, Alka_rex, Mark Henning, Sweet & Candy, Jeff Bennett, Konrad Black, Terry Mullan, Jesse Rose, Adultnapper, Nick Warren, Misstress Barbara, Patrick Chardronnet, Jay Tripwire, Jason Jinx, Chris Duckenfield (SWAG), Ladytron, Jimmy van M, Camea, and the Hacker. Connie spins regularly at NYC's top venues like Crobar, Pacha, Sullivan Room, Love & Cielo, but also DJs at more underground but high-profiled events and parties, eg. Minimoo, LESS @ Annex, and Resolute, for which she is a resident of.
Connie has also spun outside of NYC, in San Francisco, Miami, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Vancouver, Ibiza, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Prague, Mexico, Rio de Janeiro, Athens, and most recently, BERLIN!!! In March 2006, Connie won the Village Voice DJ Spinoff Contest and spun at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. In March 2007, Connie spun at the infamous Sunday School for Degenerates party at the Pawnshop in Miami, opening the terrace for an all-star line-up! In June 2008, Connie spun at Canada's top electronic dance party - Piknic Electronik, in Montreal! For all US bookings, except New York, please contact her booking agency, Volatl.
When she first became a part of New York's dance scene, Connie was shocked to see how few women were DJ-ing the many parties around town. Never one to settle, she has been teaching women to spin for over two years. To date, Connie has had 15 students. In addition, Connie is teaming up with Halcyon Record Store to foster and promote local female DJs via an event called "Ladies’ Night," which features a new female DJ spinning on-site every Thursday.
Connie is producing under the name "conSTAR" and her first release is due out Christmas 2008 on Airdrop Records!

AGABALE FISCHER:

Abagale Fischer is a 15 year veteran DJ/producer and singer/songwriter currently residing in NYC. She's well known for superb track selection and technical skills, as well as engaging stage performances. Over the past decade she's held residencies and guest spots both nationally and internationally and has releases as a vocalist on Fade Records and Distinctive UK. As a producer and engineer, Abagale's most recent release "Rain on Jupiter," (Biatch Corp) gained support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Tim Green, Chris Fortier and Fred P.
A recent endeavor of hers is a multimedia/performance art based event company called, "MELT." MELT was developed to explore the bass heavy sounds of the Psybient International underground. MELT is currently morphing into a permanent moniker named, "Amunet Shah."
All forthcoming projects within this genre will be released under this moniker and will include all original vocals, with backing tracks produced and engineered by Abagale. The first E.P is set for release in March 2012 followed by a full length album release in late July. Amunet Shah will continue to provide a psychedelic and ethereal glimpse into the world of cinematic bass, while Abagale Fischer stays true to her following of House-heads and Techno connoisseurs..

As an EDM industry mainstay, K1W1 (Grant Riddell) born in Nelson NZ currently resides in Brooklyn NY and has worked with top clubs, DJs, and promoters by bringing his unique sound as a dj/producer and audio engineer. When not rocking crowds with his tech style of techno and house, hes working in the studio on production. Being a perfectionist with audio, its an obsession and quality is whats its all about! Keep an ear out for K1W1 ;)

MATIAS JOFRE:

The traditional functionality of Techno | Minimal | Tech House music must always be present, but for Matias Jofre its all about taking risks and trusting his instincts, which is why his particular style is varied, covering a whole lot than just sound effects, bleeps and glitches. The Argentinean native is one self-motivating and persistence music entrepreneurs in his scene. Taking matters into his own hands made him stand out with his weekly events in Manhattan, New York that manages to inspire those around him to greater heights.
Matias Jofre founder of (S)innerScene finds inspiration through worldwide club culture. Making appearance’s in the Tri-State area ( city,state.club names & any big name DJ’s) have led to his weekly Rite of Wednesdays at Bar 13 and many mores since 2008 also collaborating to make possible Momentum a Techno Happy Hour that already passed the first year with a vibrant following. Experimenting with sound design, mixing and producing, Matias is not the one to sit still. He’s rapidly growing, taking on different approaches to try new things for his parties.
Melody plays a significant role in his work, often providing darkness to his music there is an uplifting cathartic side that generates such a positive vibe to the dance floor.
