It's that wonderful time of the year again when we combine gambling with gambling and end up with something truly moronic.
Each horse corresponds to a number on the dartboard. Pray that there are 20 runners.
We play around the world with cricket rules. Close the number out, you get the horse:
- Hit a number three times (hit a triple on a number, hit two doubles on a number and then a single, or three singles) and you get the number.
- No points.
- Double bullseyes count as two towards your choice.
- Single bullseyes count as one towards your choice.
Everyone gets a horse. If there are two horses left and you have 4 players, 2 of which have already closed out on 9 horses each, the two players with 9 are excluded from further play.
Come race time, root for the horses to not die. Post time is 6:24PM. You do not have to stay to claim your prize.
Win pays 60%, place pays 30%, show pays 10%. This game is dumb.
