The real mayfest is not on walnut. The REAL Mayfest is on Euclid, and is a true college streetfest, thousands of students strong.

Nancy Cantor has done a good job of killing Mayfest so far, providing money for a ADMINISTRATION CONTROLLED event, fenced off and segregated by drinking age, controlling the masses with 3 free drinks and disgusting free food.

Is that what we want? NO! We want to party with our friends, not seperated from them! We need to regain our status as a top party school, as well as our rights as fucking partiers.

There will be an open street party as usual on Euclid, with cops keeping the peace (but always treat us respectfully and allow us to party, so treat them respectfully as well) we just need to get the word out again, and fill the streets of Euclid instead of Walnut.

Upperclassman know the deal, but the story of Mayfest on Euclid for the new kids is being swept purely with talk of Mayfest on Walnut. So, spread the word, invite everyone you know on facebook, let the freshman in on it, and let this tradition grow once again.
