Any business, especially startups, is focused on growth and customer acquisition. The most explosive, sustainable, scalable, organic, and inexpensive growth comes from viral marketing. In its simplest form, viral marketing is defined as customers marketing products to other customers. Nothing beats viral marketing in terms of assuring growth, and the fastest growing businesses, such as Facebook, Twitter, Groupon, are successfully deploying viral growth strategies.
This class covers viral growth techniques, tools and channels, and teaches class participants how to leverage them in real business scenarios. The learning goals include concrete strategies and a means of building, testing, improving and implementing viral growth mechanisms, making them a part of clientsâ workflow, and empowering and teaching clients to âgo viralâ, thus bringing new clients and growing the business organically.
Â
At the end of this session, class participants will:
Be able to apply fundamental viral growth strategies to sales, business development and marketing tasks of any products or services
Understand the development of a viral growth strategy and its implications for business development, and business-to-business and business-to-consumers sales and marketing
Be able to analyze existing products / services from the point of view of viral growth goals, and to suggest specific strategies for improvement and/or implementation of viral growth mechanisms.
Psst this class is intended for students working for small businesses or startups on a shoestring or with limited budgets who need quick, quantifiable strategies to grow the customer base and revenue stream.
