Come celebrate the Runcible Spoon's Swimsuit-themed summer issue with your fellow food friends. There will be a bubblegum-blowing contest, too -- so bring your best pack of Bubblicious gum and get ready to blow!

Our new issue is all about the hot, sweaty, decadent foods that make us look good in our bikinis. We have a guide to the best buffets in Washington from Alison Baitz, a recipe for lard pie from Tarts by Tarts' Emily Hilliard, and a fabulous photo essay on vintage kitchenware by AJ Chavar and Meredith Robinson.

And in case any of you haven't had the pleasure of visiting Blind Dog Cafe or Darnell's, Blind Dog is a pop up cafe that activates the bar 7 days a week until 4pm.

On special occasions, they open up and share the space with Darnell's in the evening as well, which means you will be able to enjoy Blind Dog baked goods, appetizer sandwiches, espresso, and homemade punch and sodas, while Darnell's will have their trademark soul food and full bar available as well.

And if the weather is nice, we will hang out on their awesome patio!
