The morning will consist of a photography workshop with Damien Carroll from Cearbhuil Studios where you will learn how to get the most from your cameras/mobile phones. If you want to take great photos but aren’t sure how, this workshop is for you. Topics will include:
• Introduction to the concept of photography
• The perfect camera
• Light and how it works – go beyond basic auto
• Composition - the basic rules

After lunch there will be a Video workshop with Amanda Webb from Spiderworking.com where you will learn how to create short video blogs. If you want to use video but don’t know where to start this workshop will help. Topics will include:
• How businesses use video for blogging.
• How to plan your video – what should it be about.
• How to frame your shot.
• How to choose a location.
• Tips on editing.
