Please join us for an intimate, evening social devoted to the hackers and entrepreneurs who are disrupting healthcare. Thursday, May 3rd, 7:00pm NASA Ames Research Park, Building 20, 1st floor foyer We will kick off with a talk by Geoff Clapp, serial entrepreneur and past CTO of Health Hero, and leave the rest of the night for us to get to know each other. Speaker bio: Geoff spent 12 years innovating and operationalizing telemedicine with Health Hero Network, where he served multiple roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Geoff designed and implemented award winning hardware and software products, including Business Week’s 2000 Product of The Year award, 2001 Silver Medical Design Excellence Award, 2001 Best Enabling Technology Technology (DMAA), and 2001 Best Telehealth Vendor (HIMSS). He guided the company through the Silicon Valley bubble burst, and built the organization into the largest telehealth vendor in the world with cornerstone customers such as the Department of Veterans Affairs and McKesson. Health Hero was acquired by Robert Bosch Healthcare, leaving Geoff to pursue his passion for startups and good wine. Wine, beer, and snacks will be provided.
