 Evan will go through and explain the whole process of setting up
 your own WordPress server\, from beginning to end. He&#039\;ll
 start with a brand new VPS and show you how to get all the way to
 a working\, lightning-fast WordPress site\, including:\n

 The software WordPress is built on: PHP\, MySQL\, etc\n
 nginx (without Apache) for a lightweight-but-powerful web
 server\n
 WordPress multisite with custom domain mapping\n
 High performance caching for WordPress&#039\; internal
 API&#039\;s\n
 (object cache) and for HTML page outputs (Batcache)\n
 \n
 This talk is relevant to anyone who wants to host their own (or
 other peoples&#039\;) WordPress sites\, and it requires that you
 understand the basics of using the command line and SSH.
 We&#039\;re going to be spending a lot of time in Terminal\, so
 you should be familiar with how it works. This is meant as a
 complement to Ben Metcalfe&#039\;s April presentation -- if you
 are interested in applying the ideas Ben talked about\, this is
 the place to start.\n
