ON JUNE 3 ... Join "NiaLiz" Mac, DJ Mark Metz, and Gail "the RiverGuidess" for a day of canoeing and connection through ecstatic dance and Nia (a form of movement practice that combines the martial arts, yoga, and modern dance) on the most peaceful and secluded stretch of the Russian River, from Healdsburg to Forestville.

We'll double up in inflatable canoes, making stops along the way for embodiment breaks with Nia black-belt Liz Mac. (Learn more about Nia at www.nianow.com).

Once off the river, we'll picnic and dance in the redwoods with DJ Marka Meeba (aka, Mark Metz, editor of Conscious Dancer Magazine).

General times: Carpools in San Rafael meet at 8am to arrive in Forestville by 9am. Russian River Adventures will shuttle us upriver to Healdsburg from there. Our cars will be waiting at the end ...

We're on the river till about 4:30pm - including lunch and dance breaks - then picnic and dance in the redwoods till 6pm.

Cost: Just $75. Limited to the first 60 who sign up.
