Social Entrepreneurs are a breed apart. They have a fire in their belly that makes them constantly question the system. They are driven to prove that a different world is possible—without regard to whether they make money at it—and they set basic urgent priorities that money alone cannot solve.
Different skills are required at different stages along the way—from the single-minded determination of the entrepreneur with an idea to the visionary and organisational capacities of the CEO leading a large corporation.

Contrast this with the social sector, where the praise and reward always seems to be focused on innovative new ideas rather than the boring challenge of taking these ideas to scale.

The publics on Social Entrepreneurship aims at facilitating a dialogue in an informal setting amongst social entrepreneurship aspirants and experts. The session will enable them to discuss some key aspects in the journey of a sustainable social venture. The session also presents a unique opportunity to interact and network with people who want to make a difference by running an enterprise.

The session will start with a presentation on Sustainable Social Entrepreneurship from the expert panel. This will be followed by a Q & A and discussion session. At the end of the session, the participants will breakout for tea/coffee.
