Panelists:
Krista Donaldson, CEO of D-Rev
Krista is the CEO of D-Rev a non-profit technology incubator whose mission is to improve health and incomes of people of people living on less than $4 a day. At D-Rev she leads a group of world-class and world-changing engineers, designers and business professionals. She has been working at the intersection of design and international development for over twelve years as a Diplomacy Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, a Researcher at KickStart International and a Mechanical Engineer IDEO. On top of leading the team and vision of D-Rev she is a frequent lecturer at Stanford University.
Jaspal S. Sandhu, Partner of the GOBEE GROUP
Jaspalâs primary focus is on human-centered design for technology and service innovation in global public health. Through Gobee, he and his teams consult international organizations on various issues related to the design and usability of technology to improve population health. In 2009, he was selected as one of three iSpot Award winners by the Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation. He has designed a globally unique graduate public health innovation course and teaches at the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley.
Marika Shioiri-Clark, Environments Designer Fellow at IDEO.org
Markia is an architect who utilizes design to empower global change agents and battle inequality. She has designed hospitals and helped inspire the next generation of local designers in Rwanda. With her partners at MASS, Marika co-founded an architectural nonprofit dedicated to designing well-built environments that aid in the reduction of global poverty.
Currently Marika is an IDEO.org Fellow where for eleven months, she works with eight Fellows from the design, business and social sectors to work, learn, grow and innovate to make the world a better place.

Sean Hewens, Knowledge Manager at IDEO.org
Sean Hewens is the Knowledge Manager & In-House Counsel at IDEO.org. In his role as Knowledge Manager, Sean guides IDEO.org's open project model and its initiatives to spread human-centered design throughout the social sector. Sean joined IDEO.org after two years as the executive director of a small Boston-based nonprofit combining technology education and cultural preservation training in Eastern Africa. He also co-founded a social enterprise repatriating hipster t-shirts from Africa. Prior to entering the social sector, Sean worked as a corporate attorney for four years. Sean holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia University and a law degree from Georgetown.
