 Yes folks\, it&#039\;s that time of year again. Time to get in
 touch with your inner child (or bring your actual one\, if
 you&#039\;ve got one or two lying around:)\n

 WE’LL HAVE: Bouncing castle\, twister\, cotton candy machine\,
 croquet set and grills. \n

 YOU BRING: Frisbees\, Jarts\, balls\, blankets\, hackysacks\,
 anything picnicky. And of course…\n

 FOOD: So we don’t end up with 3\,000 cans of Coke and one hot
 dog bun\, let’s break it up!   If your last name begins with:

 A-J	bring Main Course Stuff: (hot dogs/burgers/buns/sandwiches\,
 etc). \n
 \n
 K-P	 bring Side Stuff: (salads/chips/dips/cheeses\, etc.) \n
 \n
 Q-U	bring Drinks (water/lemonade/soda pop/iced tea). No wine\,
 beer or liquor please - it&#039\;s illegal in the park and one
 can get a hefty fine for it. \n

 V-Z	bring Desserts (desserts)\n
 \n
 Dogs are welcome\, but make sure they are always on a leash. The
 Rangers gave one of our guests a hefty fine a couple of years ago
 for having his dog unleashed.\n

 DIRECTIONS: \n
 \n
 •	Start from the intersection of Los Feliz Blvd. and Riverside
 Drive. It&#039\;s the intersection with the big fountain\, right
 off the Los Feliz exit of the 5 freeway. \n
 •	Riverside Drive becomes Crystal Springs Drive North of Los
 Feliz. So take Crystal Springs Drive North into Griffith Park. \n
 •	Go to the stop sign with a blue sign telling you to go left
 to the Merry-Go-Round. Go left. \n
 •	Follow the road up a slight hill to Merry-Go-Round Lot #1.
 Don&#039\;t park here.\n
 •	Continue on to Lot #2. Don&#039\;t park here. \n
 •	Continue on to Lot #3. \n
 •	As you turn into Lot #3\, you will see a big picnic area in
 front of you. There will be a big orange bathroom in the middle
 of the picnic area and a kids&#039\; playground to the right. We
 will be somewhere in this picnic area\, to the left of the
 bathroom. The picnic area extends quite a ways to the left\, so
 after you park\, just head that way until you see a bunch of
 people bouncing. \n

 NO WINE\, BEER OR LIQUOR\n
 \n
 Since we’re such a big group\, the rangers raid the party every
 year\, checking coolers and people’s cups for liquor so they
 can shut us down. When they see we have none\, they leave us
 alone. So please emphasize this to any friends you invite.
