100cameras is an organization that takes photography education to underprivileged kids around the world.
The fair will be free for all attendees and will be open to New York City residents and anyone visiting New York City on the day of the fair. On their way out, each visitor will be given the opportunity to donate to 100cameras.
Just like that Science Museum you went to as a kid, the fair will have interactive booths where you will be able to bring your camera to learn various concepts about photography. Attendees will create some amazing images while visiting each booth and will learn how to use their cameras in the process. Each of the three exhibits will focus on one simple but powerful aspect of photography: brightness, aperture and shutter speed.
We aim to have 10,000 people pass through the fair.
Our mission is to make photography accessible to everyone on the planet and, for one day, we're focusing on New York City!
