Attendance Records is dedicated to bringing creativity back into schools by connecting teachers and students with local writers, artists and musicians. By providing students with the opportunity to design, write and produce their own album, students will build confidence skills that will result in discovering what makes them unique.

Last semester, Attendance Records launched our first project at Anderson High School with the help of local Austin bands Mother Falcon and the Sour Notes.The students wrote lyrics, short stories, poetry, and created album artwork. The bands then arranged and recorded the students’ songs at Premium Recording. The album will be available through a limited pressing on vinyl, as well as on CD and via digital download.
