Revenue generated from the festival is donated back to the community via our Austin Pride Cares program (created by the board in 2011). This year our main beneficiaries include Aids Services of Austin (ASA), OutYouth, Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT), and Equality Texas! Last year's beneficiaries included AIDS Services of Austin, Out Youth, Waterloo Counseling Center, Transgender Education Network of Texas, Bastrop Christian Ministerial Alliance – Wildfire Relief, The Care Communities, Habitat for Humanity – Pride Build, VSA of Texas, Wright House Wellness Center, Hospice Austin, Austin Humane Society, and PODER.
Formed in 2010, The Austin Gay and Lesbian Pride Foundation (AGLPF) is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to managing and organizing Austin’s annual PRIDE celebration and Stonewall Tribute.
