As part of A Year of Service, a nationwide interfaith initiative, Kagyu Samye Dzong London will be leading a day on “Faith and the Environment ” on Saturday 30th June 2012 from 2pm to 5 pm, and it is a great pleasure for us to invite you and your friends to attend.
We can already confirm that we will be hosting Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche, Abbot of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland and the Reverend Canon Andrew Nunn, Dean of Southwark Cathedral, , along with various other religious representatives, who will speak on the approach of their respective faiths to the environment. There will be an opportunity for Q&A from the audience and it will end with a ceremonial planting of an ornamental tree in Spa Road Gardens.
This event is free and we hope as many people as possible will be able to attend.
