Jean-Hervé Péron (founding member of the legendary Krautrock group Faust) along with Amaury Cambuzat (member of Ulan Bator and the current Faust line-up) in a rare duo performance on Sunday May 20th in Austin, Texas at the ND at 501 Studios, 501 Brushy St. near I-35. This will be their only US appearance.

Jean-Hervé Péron co-founded the experimental German group Faust with Werner "Zappi" Diermaier and Hans Joachim Irmler in 1971, recording a series of records for Polydor and Virgin Records that many would later define and associate with the "Krautrock" sound. Faust continue to perform live combing high energy improvisation and spectacle with a rich selection of pieces from their extensive, early catalog. Peron's recent activities also involve recordings and experiments under under his Art-Errorist moniker, including solo as well as collaboritive performances with Steven Stapleton (of Nurse With Wound). In addition, Peron organizes the annual Avantgarde Festival in Schiphorst, Germany curating the weekend event featuring over 90 artists from 14 nations.

Amaury Cambuzat is the founder of the French avant-rock outfit Ulan Bator. In addition to performances with the current Faust line-up since 1996, he records extensively and is involved in numerous collaborations featured on his Acid Cobra imprint.

Please come out and join us for this literally once-in-a-lifetime event. We know it's short notice, but this is certainly the closest our fair city will ever get to a "proper" Faust show and it's guaranteed to be full of surprises. Frankly, Faust is one of the only bands that can do no wrong in our book, and recent releases have been stellar. The ND is a great venue, too. Be there!
