Hope everyone's recovering from the slew of hardware events this month! Between the Maker Faire, Pebble's runaway Kickstarter success, and the exponential growth of the hardware community, it's certainly an exciting time to be in this space.
Speaking of which, we're excited to see everyone again at Sensored meetup #4: Biosensors! This time we're focusing on biosensors, and continuing with the same format -- a few short (5 min) talks focused on projects or startups in our community.
Monday's lineup:
• Mark Garrison from Saleae: Building a surface electromyogram (EMG) sensor
• Ashwin Pushpala from Sano Intelligence: API to the bloodstream
• Santhi Elayaperumal from Stanford: Miniature Fiber-Optic Strain Sensors
• Nancy Dougherty: Ingestible Event Markers and Biometric Monitoring
• Andy Lee: Emergency run stop for assitive robotics
We’d like to invite you to come join us from 7 for drinks, networking and a chance to talk informally. We’ll start the presentations at 7:30 and will wrap up by 9 (and migrate to Brick House (http://www.brickhousesf.com/) after, like the last few times).
Please feel free to forward this invite to others working in the sensor space. We look forward to seeing you there!
Sensationally,
Rachel
P.S. Thank you to Lemnos Labs for hosting the event! Lemnos Labs, a hardware incubator based in San Francisco, provides seed investment, mentorship and resources to talented engineers with innovative ideas and a passion for making things. For more information:
