Apres une courte introduction a Google Drive nous verrons comment les applications web peuvent s'integrer et interagire avec Google Drive en utilisant le SDK Google Drive et profiter du stockage gratuit offert par Drive et acceder au milliards de fichiers déja présents dans les Drive des utilisateurs. Nous verrons en détails les flux d'authentification et d'authorisation utilisé par Google Drive et basé sur OAuth 2.0 et OpenID Connect. Puis, nous finirons par voir comment les fichiers Drive sont créés et lus en utilisant l'API REST et comment utiliser nos libraries pour les integrer facilement.

 

Cross-platform apps in Java with GWT, Phonegap & HTML5 (Daniel Kurka) EN

The talk will discuss the pros and cons of native vs. webapps for mobile development and will introduce a third way of building apps with HTML5. This approach uses Phonegap and has none of the drawbacks of native or webapps.With phonegap you can build cross platform apps based on web standards. This can be done with Javascript. GWT on the other hand is an excellent tool for building Javascript apps in Java, but it is missing some key parts for building great mobile apps with it. Daniel Kurka will introduce two open source project: mgwt and GWT-Phonegap that close this gap: mgwt provides mobile Widgets, that look like native widgets for different platforms. GWT-Phonegap enables GWT apps to use Phonegap. The talk will highlight important design decision that need to be considered when building apps with HTML5.

Bio :

Daniel Kurka has been a web developer for almost 15 years. He is also a contributor to the GWT project. Since 2009 he is building mobile Apps with GWT and Phonegap and has released two open source projects that encapsulate the acquired knowledge.
