10:15 - 1:30 - Open social dancing, with resident DJs (DJ Hong and DJ 360) spinning rare mambo, salsa dura and bachata.

About your Host - Gabriel Romero
Gabriel Romero is a world-renowned dance instructor, performer and choreographer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. He and his dance partner, Victoria, have been teaching the longest running weekly Salsa On 2 classes in the Bay Area and they are the creative forces behind the Mambo Romero Latin Dance Company. Whether you're a beginner to salsa or an intermediate/advanced dancer looking to make the switch to on 2, Gabriel's classes are fun and challenging for all levels.

About DJ Hong
DJ Hong comes from a musical background (over 29 years). After taking his first salsa basic steps at the Metronome Ballroom with dance champion Ava Apple, he joined the Latin Symbolics and trained with Ava and future champions Junior and Emily Alabi, performing in LA, SF, NYC, Chicago and Miami. Recently DJ Hong has been an up and coming force in the SF salsa dancing scene, playing at El Valenciano on Wednesdays and Cafe Cocomo on Thursdays and Saturdays. DJ Hong recently made his SF Salsa Congress debut as one of the main room DJs, and has also played at the US Salsa Open, the SF International Bachata Festival, Hawaii Salsa Festival, and regularly guest DJs at venues in Tokyo and Boston.

About DJ 360, SF Bay Area DJ
DJ 360 has been a wonderful addition to the Mambo Romero Latin Wednesdays DJ family since 2010. He started DJ'ing in 2002 and has amassed a large collection of rare Vinyl LPs since 2004. He is definitely a crowd favorite among our Latin Wednesday guests and patrons with his mad "real spinning" skills, and is most appreciated for bringing his talents to both the DJ Stage and to the dance floor as an avid social dancer. DJ 360 has also been a featured DJ for several South Bay Latin Dance/Salsa events, including the annual President's Day Weekend Salsa & Bachata Flings.

About the Bouncer
She's mean but she has a nice smile. She'll try not to flip out at people who sprinkle baby powder on the floor, those who crowd the entry way, and those who spill drinks on the Bouncer's Table. For the sake of everyone's sanity, don't do those things.
