Many developers know, or have heard of, the many APIs available on the Internet to help make sites more robust and provide more info to site visitors. However many are intimidated by the technology and don't realize how easy it is to include this information in sites.
In this talk Adam Culp will point out some of the popular APIs freely available, and will also show how to connect to them quickly to include the information on the web. He will build a quick PHP application to connect, retreive, and then display the information anywhere we choose.
