Grace Keh, author of "Food Lovers' Guide to San Francisco: The Best Restaurants, Markets & Local Culinary Offerings" and editor at
http://sffood.net, will be one of the guest judges at the Soy and Tofu Dessert Competition at this year's Northern California Soy and Tofu Festival.
Grace joins competition judges Supervisor Eric Mar, Hodo Soy Beanery CEO Minh Tsai, Cherry Blossom Queen Asaki Osato, and Ozumo Executive Sous Chef Riko Majillo.
The festival will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in San Francisco Japantown’s Peace Plaza, Post at Buchanan streets. It will feature various soy-related vendors, an Educational Forum highlighting the various uses of soy, live performances, audience participation games and a Soy and Tofu Dessert Competition.

While the Festival is free and open to the public, proceeds from sponsorships, vendors and some food sales help the Nichi Bei Foundation continue to publish the Nichi Bei Weekly— the first nonprofit ethnic community newspaper of its kind in the country — and its Website,
