For those of you who haven't been around, please allow us to elaborate:
We've signed up 16 local Grill-Masters for our Summer-long BBQ Competition. They will be facing off, two at a time every Sunday afternoon, grilling up their specialty in our backyard here at Project Parlor. Each Sunday there will be one winner who will be invited back to face off against another winning chef later in the Summer, and so on and so forth until we crown our Grill-Master Champion of Project Parlor 2012 this September. A ridiculously large meat-inspired trophy and $250.00 bar tab will be awarded and the winner's name will be engraved on a little brass plate that will go on a plaque (if anyone ever finishes making one) that will hang on our wall in the bar for all time (just as soon as we get it).
Congratulations to last weeks winner Sean Toussaint! That man really knows how to move some meat!

Team Flightless Bird
To understand the story of Flightless Bird's co-barbecuers you must first ask the question "did I mail out the netflix?" Started as a dare to see who would break first, this duo has created a menu of food based items that are intended to tease your pallet with flirtatious glances and references to how you were a fat child with a bad nickname. Once you have tried the fire prepared culinary offerings of this ingenuous New England team you will understand that true mastery comes not from experience but outright fear of rejection. To quote Steven Hawking's robot chair "It is not clear that intelligence has any long-term survival value.". With that in mind, look not to the past for inspiration, nor the future for hope, but to the present; for only there will you find napkins. May you forever be downwind of attractive people.
The BBQ Ninjas
Andrew Eutsler, Becky Larion, Flynn Michael and Lea Perella
make up this eclectic pair of misfit couples inspired by healthy flavor profiles and a passion for the BBQ season. They hope to deliver a tasteful experience, second only to pure entertainment on your tongue. This foursome is dedicated to making your taste buds dance & rejoice with your drink of choice in the backyard at Project Parlor. Rumor has it there will be a VIP menu - we're crossing our fingers for a spot on the list. Bring on the saucy meat!

Another rousing game of everyone's new favorite sport; Ultimate Croquet is tentatively scheduled for some point in the afternoon, some time between buzzed-thirty and quarter-past tipsy. If we feel like it. Cham-pong anyone?

We've got a brand spankin' new GIANT Tent (again)! So, rain or shine, we're good to go!
