Austin Fashion Week Kick-Off "Shift into Style"

Circuit of The Americas™, in conjunction with the Circuit Events Host Committee™, is partnering with the organizers of Austin Fashion Week to kick off this year’s Austin Fashion Week with Shift into Style.

The First Lady of Texas, Anita Perry will open the festivities as guests indulge in gourmet food and live entertainment. During the event, see the unveiling of the outfits for the Circuit of The Americas’ (COTA) Girls to be worn at the Formula 1™ United States Grand Prix Nov. 16-19, 2012, designed by local talent, of Fashion Star™ fame, Ross Bennett.

The event will also feature runway shows of evening apparel by The Danes, menswear line from Austin-owned "Keepers", and sportswear by Ferrari, with make up by ROAR Salon.

Finally, Shift into Style will also host a silent auction with items designed specifically for the event by Kendra Scott, Linda Asaf and Lana Chu, among others. The silent auction will benefit The Arc of the Capital Area.

See Formula One cars from Williams, Lotus-Pirelli, and Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari F1 world championship car.

Proceeds from the event will go to Seton Breast Cancer Center, Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center and the Arc of the Capital Area.
