Hear from six-month old early stage startup, maturing and growing technical company and the large scale established technical firm. You'll learn directly from CTO's exactly what languages, frameworks and environments they're using and why they're using them. It will be an exciting, interactive and highly technical discussion about the trials and tribulations of building a startup in today's fast-paced technical landscape.

Announcing our first presenter: Froilan Mendoza, CTO @ Mirror.co
Mirror is a new social media technology that revolutionizes two markets which havenât progressed much in the past decade: online dating and online people search. Mirror launched in March 2012 and is currently in its content-seeding phase. Their technical team is led by CTO Froilan Mendoza. Froilan has 15 years of start-up experience and is an expert in building scalable web applications for early-stage startups using the latest PHP/LAMP/MVC technologies. He leads a team which uses Yii, memcache, jquery in an agile/scrum environment.
Before joining Mirror, he was the CTO of JWed/Frumster and StyleHop.
Froilan is also an adjunct professor at Monroe College.

Moving to New York in 2005 he began to lead teams building out high capacity websites in publishing and social networking verticals, before becoming head of tech at Voxy in October 2011.
