Amit Singhal is the Senior Vice President Google, a Google fellow and the Head of Search for Google. A PhD from Cornell University, Amit runs Google's core search department. According to New York Times, he is the master of what Google calls its “ranking algorithm” — the formulas that decide which web pages best answer each user’s question. Fortune has named Amit one of the smartest people in Technology.
