That's the assumption IdeaMensch is built upon. And that's why during our events we bring in a wide range of awesome speakers who then spend 10-15 minutes talking about an idea they brought (or are bringing to life), how they did and what you can learn from it. And then you’ll have 10-15 minutes to ask them questions and continue the conversation.
We promise you're going to walk away with at least five super valuable nuggets of information to put to use for your own idea.
You’re also going to be blown away by our audience (yourself) which is comprised by folks ranging from tech CEOs, social entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders ambitious college grads and folks in advertising and media.
The event will be held at RallyPad in downtown San Francisco and will start at 6pm with some casual networking. The talks will start at 6:30pm.

Sarah Lacy is the founder and editor-in-chief of PandoDaily. She is an award winning journalist and author of two critically acclaimed books, “Once You’re Lucky, Twice You’re Good″ and “Brilliant, Crazy, Cocky: How the Top 1% of Entrepreneurs Profit from Global Chaos”. She will talk about her experience of launching and rapidly growing Silicon Valley tech blog PandoDaily.[divider]
Nikhil Arora of Back To The Roots
Nikhil Arora is the co-founder of Back To The Roots, a Grow-Your-Own Mushroom Garden which lets anyone, across the country, grow their own gourmet mushrooms at home as well! He will talk about his learnings of building a business that reuses 3.6 million lbs of Peets' coffee grounds to create kits that helped families grow over 250,000 lbs of fresh food in 2011. [divider]
Aaron Schwartz of Modify Industries
Aaron Schwartz, is the CEO and co-founder of Modify Industries which was voted as one of the top 100 young startups in the U.S. and was featured on Good Morning America’s website as well as in The New York Times, Washington Post, TechCrunch and more. Aaron will discuss what it takes to start and grow a totally new kind of watch that allows users mix-and-match to create their own style.[divider]
Brian Wong of Kiip
And last, but not least, Brian Wong of Kiip, a mobile rewards network, backed by True Ventures. Kiip has raised over $4.4 million in funding to date and is redefining the advertising industry through a “moments”-based value model, versus the traditional attention based screen estate model. Brian is the “youngest person to ever receive funding by a venture capital firm” and will share with us a bit more about his path of getting to where he is now.[divider]
