Bay Area event alchemists infuse eclectic music, social engineering, unintentional comedy, and bleeding-edge audio technology into 25 events on 38 days in 8 different States.
Silent Frisco (www.silentfrisco.com) is taking one giant leap for mankind in 2012, with an impossible summer tour spanning the four corners of the U.S. The Mission: “Scene: Not Heard” and these Bay Area audio innovators accomplish it with 2000+ custom-designed wireless “silent disco” headphones, 15 years of production experience, and a world-class stable of eclectic in-house musical talent. There is no challenge too difficult, or outlandish for Silent Frisco to pull off . Except perhaps the one they have erected for themselves in the summer of 2012. Seriously, who tries to simultaneously execute 3-night sunrise sessions at Gathering of the Vibes in Connecticut and String Cheese Incident in Oregon on the same weekend in July? Or to carry out huge installations at both Treasure Island Music Festival and Austin Enchanted Forest simultaneously in October? To take on a tour of this magnitude and complexity, Silent Frisco will need to leverage all of their ample experience, fortitude, insomnia, obsessive compulsion, and a little touch of insanity.
