7th Annual Latin@ Pride Picnic - SAVE THE DATE!

Orgullo en Acción is set to host the Latina/o LGBT PRIDE Picnic on Saturday, August 4 in Humboldt Park near the corner of Division Street and Luis Munoz Marin Drive from 12pm-8pm. Orgullo en Acción is set to host the Latina/o LGBT PRIDE Picnic on Saturday, August 4 in Humboldt Park near the corner of Division Street and Luis Munoz Marin Drive from 12pm-8pm. The event is free and intended for all- allies, family and children are welcomed. Attendees are encouraged to bring food and grills.

The Latino PRIDE Picnic grew out of a grassroots initiative and continues to stay true to creating a space where LGBTQ Latina/os and their allies of all ages can celebrate their multiple identities with pride. Activities include a children’s play area, community art project, grilling, main stage performances, dancing and community building.

Some of the performers are: Milani Ninjah, Svadhi Couture, Ensemble Espanol, Modern Clave, Gender Bent Chicago, Venus Carangi, Youth Empowerment Performance Project (YEPP), Jeniiva, Gio Starr, Rage Divine DeMornay, Mercedes Bonet, and MUCH MORE!!!

Orgullo welcomes back the legendary Andres Del los Santos, one of Chicago's first Latino drag kings and Orgullo en Accion founding board member.

Music will be host by DJ Gordo, with some sessions with Idaima and Priscilla Sin Amor.
