*** It's a great day for happy hour! See you tonight! ***
UPDATE #2: Drink specials are $4 Amstels, $5 30s & 40s Allstar drinks, and $6 house wine until 8pm!
UPDATE #1: Looks like this will be a good one! So tell a friend, come on out, meet new people, and help support a good cause! And again, I encourage everyone to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE!

Okay, time to get together for our next happy hour!
Our happy hour will benefit the Global Fairness Initiative... http://www.befaircampaign.org/ ... a non profit organization that promotes a more equitable, sustainable approach to economic development for the working poor by advancing fair wages, equal access to markets, and balanced public policy to generate opportunity and end the cycle of poverty.... suggested $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations go to the Global Fairness Initiative and 20% of donations will go to the 30s & 40s Going Out Group to cover Meetup fees and expenses.
DJ Saam will be spinning loungy groovy beats for us. Our happy hours typically bring out 150 - 200 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around.
If you haven't been there before, Josephine features a cavernous underground space that has a retro-chic French touch!
To help continue the friendly tone of this group... I'd like to again encourage each person to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE at this event. To help do this, for an icebreaker, we'll put your name in a jar as you walk in, and then give you someone else's name from the jar. Also, 30s & 40s Allstars, please help make all the newcomers feel welcome to our group!

Metro
Closest Metro is McPherson Square (Orange/Blue Line), I suggest metro / cabbing it (esp. during rush hour). I also recommend using wmata for travel plans. Don't forget to account for Metro and traffic delays.
