An old school ragga jungle aficionado with an extreme penchant for mid-school hiphop circa 1992-1998. A jazz addict/video game/heavy metal/Vegas-lounge obsessed absorbant black hole into graffiti and salsa and things from Japan. Heavy doses of serendipitous turntablized stand up comedy and dusty thrift store jazzdope vinyl over Danny Break bangers and Ninja Tune [Yes Mate!] essentials in the basement of your mom's house during an event horizon superjam normally hyper-occurring sometime between 5-9am in the morning when the real party peeps are throwing banana skins at brightly spray painted mannequins and nothing is quite what it seems. With droid hats. Yaaay arrr! Plus sound effects. And ballooooooons.
Standout highlights include rocking out a 12 000 person crowd at 4/20 @ The Vancouver Art Gallery in 2008, and a really long 20 hour marathon set [unofficially the longest set at Shamblz, ever] at Shambhala 2009 with one laptop, no headphones and no mixer. Has been known to promote continuous bacon and fresh cut beats on consecutive occasions at Basscoast, Diversity, Shambhala, Alluvium, Entheos, Recon, Renegade!, Ananda, Soundclash of the Titans, InVision, GOTT, and a bunch of other gigs.
Currently the founder and facilitator of the Holochron Collective, an artcore development hub of over 100 of the creamiest crop topping creative minds in the general North American region, expect to see much of our 3D hologram business cards out in the matrix, all the time. Brraaap.

Wobbelix is Vancouver based producer and live electronic artist, often performing electric guitar in his multi-genre bass sets. He has had releases with several profilic record labels, including Big Fish Recordings, Generation Bass, Dandy Kid Records, Big in Ibiza, Sick Slaughterhouse, and eight:fx. With his tune "Doberman" reaching beatdigital.com #1 top seller as well as many others hitting either the Beatport top 50 or the Trackitdown top 10, it is no wonder beatport has dubbed Wobbelix as “Canada’s most promising new bass don producing squishy twitchy fidget and apocalyptic robot dubstep”. Most recently, his Moombahcore EP with Elonious on Generation Bass reached #14 in the Beatport Top 100 Electro Releases. If thats not enough, he has been featured on Mad Decent and Dubstep.net. His track "This is Reality" got 15,000 plays and 2,000 downloads within the first week of its free release.
Wobbelix aims to propel the evolution of bass heavy genres by incorporating authentic sounds from traditional genres such as classic rock, reggae/dub, and heavy metal. He makes music for the future, using technological advances to transcend cultural and musical barriers and to create complex soundscapes that illustrate political and apocalyptic concepts. With a weekly residency at Vancouver's Epic Thursdays at Club 23 and shows with Blueprint and YouPlusOne, Wobbelix is one of the freshest live acts in the scene.
