In the dark and quirky new comedy Tigers Be Still, an unemployed and overwhelmed young woman’s life seems to be brightening up when she’s hired as a substitute art teacher and art therapist. Now if only her mother would leave her room, her depressed sister would get off the couch, her new boss would leave his gun at home, and someone would catch that tiger that escaped from the local zoo—well then, everything would be just perfect. Tigers Be Still is an angst-ridden and hilarious take on all the tigers, real and metaphorical, that prowl through modern life.
