We're more than exited to have Dan Denney give a talk about design. In this talk he takes us in a interesting perceptive on how design and people are joined creating a connection between.
Dan background and experience comes from years of internet design, contributing largely to the growing Tampa Bay web design / tech community including organizing Front-End-Design meetup and the annually held Front-End-Design Conference in St Petersburg, FL.
This talk welcomes open discussion as part of it's schedule, we love if you're able to join us and contribute a question, something you know about the subject or like to share.
Description of Talk
There is a shift in focus in the world and its gaze is on design. Entire nations are putting an emphasis on people-driven design and there are effects visible down to the small business. Tampa Bay could (and should) ride this wave, for the benefits that it provides in commerce and growth of a talent pool.
Who is Dan Denney?
(in his own words)
I am a front-end dev, which means that I write code that makes visual and interactive items work on the web. At heart, I'm a fanboy and love to learn from people willing to share. So, I run a front-end design conference in St. Petersburg each year and help out with a few other events and sites related to design, development and tech.
